FC Catalunha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Ibar in the 45th minute of play forced FC Catalunha's goalkeeper Olavo de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Ibar in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Albino Ibar notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of FC Catalunha's Olavo de Azevedo. Olavo de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half AKI CORINTHIANS were leading 0-6. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Mazza made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Catalunha's zone, Ciro Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo de Azevedo came out of the goal and Ciro Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adilson Guerra hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. FC Catalunha's Olavo de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Catalunha from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute of the match Albino Ibar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes FC Catalunha got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Guerra. 67 minutes into the match, FC Catalunha's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Ibar came free, but Olavo de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Ciro Brasil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Olavo de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albino Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Olavo de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Ibar took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo de Azevedo. Olavo de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 90th minute, AKI CORINTHIANS's Albino Ibar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olavo de Azevedo. Olavo de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Olavo de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ciro Brasil sent off a good shot on target.
