When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Lucas Furtado put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paredes Fortes. 20 minutes into the game, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Casomiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ciro Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Casomiro having to interfere. Armando Casomiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Brasil in the 34th minute. Lucas Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Furtado in the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Brasil in the 60th minute of play. Lucas Furtado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 63rd playminute. If Ciro Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Brasil in the 76th minute of play. Fulgencio Ciano made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AKI CORINTHIANS's Gonçalo da Silveira. Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Castro in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Brasil in the 83rd minute of play forced Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Vânderson Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Lucas Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Romeo Malcoci got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paredes Fortes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atlético Rovesco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
