Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesare Simone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 4th minute Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Simone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 7 minutes, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Simone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone got control of the ball when Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesare Simone having to make a save. 28 minutes in the game Edmondo Bertini did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Beppe Zoff. In the 36thth minute of the game Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sorci Viola's Cesare Simone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Simone saved Sorci Viola from getting behind.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Bertini. In the 54th minute Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesare Simone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink came free, but Cesare Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WZG Sandomierz's Rafal Niemoj managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arturo Bonelli in the 62 minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink came free, but Cesare Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Hugon Czciborek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesare Simone. Sorci Viola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugon Czciborek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesare Simone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Arturo Bonelli threw the ball into play from the sideline. WZG Sandomierz's Rafal Niemoj quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. WZG Sandomierz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugon Czciborek in the 77th minute. WZG Sandomierz's Black Remi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cesare Simone in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Sorci Viola's zone, Wojciech Dec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Simone came out of the goal and Wojciech Dec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wojciech Dec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesare Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Dec in the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Wojciech Dec managed to get in a good position for a shot. WZG Sandomierz's supporters rose to their feet, but Wojciech Dec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Simone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felice Tozzi got free with Alfred Dziatkowski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Black Remi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Wojciech Dec came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the WZG Sandomierz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wojciech Dec couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmondo Bertini during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Sorci Viola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Bertini to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Edmondo Bertini in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WZG Sandomierz's Black Remi. 95 minutes into the game, Wojciech Dec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cesare Simone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. WZG Sandomierz were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sorci Viola for a fine match.
