After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Mesut Özil got a free kick in the 19th minute. August Hoffmanns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Minchev went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd match minute, Jurupeba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadil Çarçani to maneuver through the defense. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Breckenfeld in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beto Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got August Hoffmanns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Jurupeba FC's Martin Minchev in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th minute of the match, Martin Minchev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Hoffmanns saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anestis Kotsopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Beto Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Hoffmanns. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beto Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Tymoteusz Terasek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
