When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anestis Kotsopoulos made a kick off. When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maximilian Henning in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96thth minute of the game Anestis Kotsopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rot-Weiss-Essen had won after a very even match.
