Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maximilian Henning was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramón Vaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anestis Kotsopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Anestis Kotsopoulos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ÇANAKKALE SPOR's Ramón Vaz. Ramón Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. August Hoffmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sefa Deryace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Vaz saved ÇANAKKALE SPOR from getting behind. When ÇANAKKALE SPOR's Serbülent Behram in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Herminio Galtero struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÇANAKKALE SPOR. Ramón Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 90th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Rot-Weiss-Essen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ÇANAKKALE SPOR.
