Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nacho Barbutski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Barbutski in the 7th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play forced Loko Plovdiv's goalkeeper Vladimir Tomanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes Loko Plovdiv's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimir Tomanov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vladimir Tomanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nacho Barbutski. Vladimir Tomanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Genadi Ahmakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loko Plovdiv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 28th minute, Genadi Ahmakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Tomanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Buranovski in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Loko Plovdiv's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Loko Plovdiv's goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Loko Plovdiv's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vladimir Tomanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Loko Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalin Mitrushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Tomanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Loko Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Vladimir Tomanov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 56th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Loko Plovdiv's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Tomanov quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nacho Barbutski during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Czeslaw Sakowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Barbutski in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacho Barbutski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 70th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vladimir Tomanov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vladimir Tomanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vladimir Tomanov made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimir Tomanov. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. Loko Plovdiv's Prokopi Ninkov was substituted for Parvan Aladzhemov. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Barbutski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Tomanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Tomanov having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Czeslaw Sakowicz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Loko Plovdiv from getting a goal against them.
