Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raymundo Carilao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Ornitorrincos F.C. defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaw Pysz. The Ornitorrincos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaw Pysz should have stopped the shot. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Amadeo Arens hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Raymundo Carilao sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabino Calvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymundo Carilao made a kick off. A collision led to Ornitorrincos F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Yoel Melipil hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustaw Pysz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper Gustaw Pysz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Ornitorrincos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymundo Carilao to maneuver through the defense. Gustaw Pysz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gustaw Pysz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of the match. If Gabino Calvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustaw Pysz. Gustaw Pysz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 84 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lester Clavijo. Gustaw Pysz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Gustaw Pysz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lester Clavijo in the 92nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
