Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Michael Ballack made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Rudolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 16 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Clemente Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Characate FC's Clemente Rudolfo. Clemente Rudolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Rudolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Celestino Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Michael Ballack struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Characate FC. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Clemente Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 51st minute of play. When Cleto Gizon fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Characate FC's protests and gave Cleto Gizon a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Gizon hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Ferman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita pulled a muscle in his back after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ecuador's Luz Palacio was substituted for Daniel Zorita. In the 62nd minute, Marciano Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Characate FC's zone, Luz Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Rudolfo came out of the goal and Luz Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Characate FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Rudolfo, making the score, 0-7. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Clemente Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Luz Palacio notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Characate FC's Clemente Rudolfo. Clemente Rudolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Eufrasio. Characate FC's Clemente Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Characate FC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Luz Palacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Rudolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Clemente Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luz Palacio. But to his dismay, Luz Palacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Clemente Rudolfo made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Characate FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Characate FC's Cleto Gizon got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Cleto Gizon off the ground. Cleto Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Luz Palacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Rudolfo. Characate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Palacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Characate FC throughout the match.
