Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Koufakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Koufakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Nelson Mandela made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nelson Mandela sent off a good shot on target. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camillo Pesce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kaid Šuman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigoris Koufakis. FK Željezničar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute Nelson Mandela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleksander Naskrent kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Grigoris Koufakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoris Koufakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Nelson Mandela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Caetano Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Mandela in the 57th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FK Željezničar getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nikola Bogdanović hit a great ball. FK Željezničar's Ibrahim Veizović was substituted for Camillo Pesce. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FK Željezničar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikola Bogdanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Grigoris Koufakis threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by FK Željezničar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Grigoris Koufakis quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Grigoris Koufakis in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelson Mandela during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Nelson Mandela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Željezničar's Adi Jusufović was substituted for Nelson Mandela. A collision led to FK Željezničar getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nelson Mandela hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes FK Željezničar got a freekick which was hit by Stevan Žižović. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoris Koufakis having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Caetano Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Željezničar and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Kaid Šuman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adi Jusufović went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Bogdanović in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FK Željezničar were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
