Mirkelam Özdoğru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Songurbey Hünerli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Abram Sarmiento quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Samuel Navarro in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by JiOmaro's Ali Nabi Demirtaş. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurbey Tuncal in the 56th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Songurbey Tuncal's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Songurbey Tuncal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Songurbey Hünerli made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Songurbey Tuncal immediately put the ball in play. In the 68th minute Songurbey Tuncal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Songurbey Tuncal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Songurbey Tuncal came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Orlando Tafalla got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abram Secada. 82 minutes into the match, JiOmaro's Mourits Nelander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mirkelam Özdoğru made a huge save. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. JiOmaro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Santino Seco scored to the left of an out of position Mirkelam Özdoğru, making the score, 4-1. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
