Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Hermengildo Trianes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FERRABARCA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Restat in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Cornel Răducanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. FERRABARCA FC's Hermengildo Trianes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 25 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 minutes, Hernán Restat made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Trianes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Trianes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. Hermengildo Trianes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jaunti Bonilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute, FERRABARCA FC's Cornel Răducanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornel Răducanu made a kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hermengildo Trianes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaunti Bonilla took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peruanton Tamayo in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Restat in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FERRABARCA FC's Hernán Restat in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Răducanu in the 71st minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Arias's late challenge caught a FERRABARCA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Arias helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Răducanu in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Trianes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Hermengildo Trianes made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Hernán Restat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Trianes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FERRABARCA FC.
