Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Petruescu in the 6th minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Nicola in the 16th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şimşek Kako in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, F.c Sobby's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Martin Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.c Sobby's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 28th minute Albert Gherasescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Albert Gherasescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 36 minutes of play, F.c Sobby's Cezar Petruescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.c Sobby the free kick. The supporters of F.c Sobby booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play forced F.c Sobby's goalkeeper Martin Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After 66 played minutes F.c Sobby got a freekick which was hit by Albert Gherasescu. After a defensive mix-up in F.c Sobby's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Erruki came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şimşek Kako scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 87th minute, Cezar Petruescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.c Sobby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of F.c Sobby booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.c Sobby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
