The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Alex Cambeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drahoslav Putna having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, TAVHIK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Drahoslav Putna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Federico Oalo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Oalo. 35 minutes into the match, TAVHIK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Drahoslav Putna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Alfonso Grille hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jose Carita made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Miguel Miralles. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Oalo made a kick off. Federico Oalo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Oalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TAVHIK FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Federico Oalo hit a great ball. Federico Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. TAVHIK FC's Drahoslav Putna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save TAVHIK FC from getting a goal against them. TAVHIK FC's Marcos Rivadeneira was substituted for Vicent Moran. Drahoslav Putna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 64th minute of play. Drahoslav Putna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Oalo came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes of play Panama's Jose Carita was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Oalo in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, TAVHIK FC could leave the field as winners, despite Panama having more of the ball for most of the match.
