Dionisio Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romain Baux charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romain Baux the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Ammerschwihr got a freekick which was hit by Romain Baux. Miguel Toro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raymond Maillot. Ammerschwihr's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dionisio Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Just Bouley in the 72nd minute of play. Ammerschwihr's Raymond Maillot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ammerschwihr from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Benat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raymond Maillot. That made the score 5-4 in the 89 minute of play. Raymond Maillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Raymond Maillot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Benat's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Raymond Maillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Benat in the 95th minute of play. Raymond Maillot didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 5-5. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
