Zdzislaw Drapinski came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vinícius Marques could save by the left post. With a little luck, Desportivo Coimbra's Vinícius Marques got control of the ball when Zdzislaw Drapinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Vinícius Marques successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arnaldo Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cyryl Jaktorowo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aks Górnik Wesoła getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edward Cebula hit a great ball. After the first half Desportivo Coimbra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Berger to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Berger in the 53rd minute of play forced Aks Górnik Wesoła's goalkeeper Cyryl Jaktorowo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jailson Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportivo Coimbra's supporters rose to their feet, but Jailson Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Kieca couldn't finish the play. In the 67th match minute, Aks Górnik Wesoła was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Andrychowski to maneuver through the defense. Jailson Berger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cyryl Jaktorowo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jailson Berger slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Eger got free with Cyryl Jaktorowo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Drapinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinícius Marques. Desportivo Coimbra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zdzislaw Drapinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Aks Górnik Wesoła's Cyryl Jaktorowo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Aks Górnik Wesoła from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Desportivo Coimbra booed when Aks Górnik Wesoła was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Andrychowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Zdzislaw Drapinski managed to get in a good position for a shot.
