Raymond Maillot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iliya Stanoychev in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dafin Nikov during the 72nd minute. Martin Dzhalev came out of the goal and Gauthier Valero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ammerschwihr's Mustapha Lecœur got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Iliya Stanoychev notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of Ammerschwihr's Raymond Maillot. Raymond Maillot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Sultanzi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sultanzi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
