Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jailson Berger started the match with the kick off. Túlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Berger in the 6th minute of play. Jailson Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Porto having to interfere. Vinícius Marques came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapera's Alan Coutinho. But to his dismay, Alan Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Desportivo Coimbra got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Gaúcho. Túlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Desportivo Coimbra's Arnaldo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Alan Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportivo Coimbra's Vinícius Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bebeto de Mendonça took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinícius Marques. Vinícius Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Desportivo Coimbra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desportivo Coimbra's goalkeeper Vinícius Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinícius Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Coutinho in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Desportivo Coimbra's zone, Alan Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius Marques came out of the goal and Alan Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Tapera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desportivo Coimbra:s goal. In the 41st minute, Alan Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Arnaldo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bebeto de Mendonça made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Desportivo Coimbra's Arnaldo Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Túlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Desportivo Coimbra's Vinícius Marques got control of the ball when Nicolas Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Jailson Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportivo Coimbra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st match minute, Desportivo Coimbra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Peres to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinícius Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the game, Bebeto de Mendonça recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinícius Marques. Bebeto de Mendonça showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Frédson Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Arnaldo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coimbra's goalkeeper Vinícius Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Coutinho. A hard shot 77 in the game by Alan Coutinho from a close distance when the talented Vinícius Marques managed to make a qualified save. Desportivo Coimbra's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Berger in the 78th minute of play forced Tapera's goalkeeper Túlio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Coutinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vinícius Marques firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Bebeto de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tapera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto de Mendonça couldn't finish the play.
