Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tapera's Alberto Ribeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Túlio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Capixaba in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Marambaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Goiano to maneuver through the defense. When Alberto Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Tapera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Marambaia FC's Evandro Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Túlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bebeto de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ribeiro in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Ulisses de Lima notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tapera's Túlio Porto. Túlio Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Bebeto de Mendonça could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Erik Bastos however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute Evandro Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Tapera's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo de Barros came free, but Túlio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Ribeiro in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Bastos saved Marambaia FC from getting behind. A collision led to Tapera getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Paulão de Queiroz hit a great ball. Túlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Tapera's Bebeto de Mendonça made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tapera's Túlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Domingues in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tapera defense, Osvaldo de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Porto. The Tapera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Porto should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Haroldo Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Erik Bastos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Túlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Túlio Porto made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Osvaldo de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Marambaia FC's Erik Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto de Mendonça in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Narciso Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marambaia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Narciso Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marambaia FC's João Vítor Godoi suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marambaia FC made a substitution. Edmílson Coelho replaced João Vítor Godoi. Alberto Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Evandro Domingues struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Túlio Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marambaia FC. 92 minutes into the match, Marambaia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto de Mendonça came free, but Erik Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Porto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo de Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 93 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Marambaia FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tapera.
