After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ricardo Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meridiano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Benat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamel Tisserant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynald Reynal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Joel Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamel Tisserant having to make a save. Joaquin Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Dionisio Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dilan Boury in the 25th minute of play. Émilien Braud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29thth minute of the game Ladislao Peru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marly's Kamel Tisserant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dilan Boury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Ladislao Peru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kamel Tisserant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Meridiano AFC booed when Marly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noël Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Peru in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamel Tisserant saved Marly from getting behind. Dionisio Maiorga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dilan Boury's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Émilien Braud in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dionisio Maiorga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dilan Boury to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 78th minute, one of Meridiano AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meridiano AFC. In the 89th minute of the match, Ladislao Peru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamel Tisserant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Émilien Braud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Peru struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Kamel Tisserant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meridiano AFC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
