In the 38th minute Fadıl Kıvanç collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Mehmet Efe Akman fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HamsiGücü Spor's protests and gave Mehmet Efe Akman a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Beytüssebap's Ediz Işınbay tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Fikret Vafi made a kick off. Babür Yürük showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Varol Dengiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. HamsiGücü Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beytüssebap the free kick. Aytunç Sebuk hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Ahmet Fikret Vafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beytüssebap's Varol Dengiz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
