After 6 played minutes Sangre Guaraní FC got a freekick which was hit by Esiquio Arrese. After 10 minutes, Lizbeth Leon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sangre Guaraní FC and the Meridiano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sangre Guaraní FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lizbeth Leon hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Sangre Guaraní FC's Peruxu Gallegos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionisio Maiorga. Dionisio Maiorga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Esiquio Arrese's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Maiorga was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Sangre Guaraní FC's Esiquio Arrese got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Laurentzi in the 32nd minute of play forced Sangre Guaraní FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Montealegre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Esiquio Arrese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lizbeth Leon got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Meridiano AFC booed when Sangre Guaraní FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lizbeth Leon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Meridiano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Orland. Peruxu Gallegos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Dionisio Maiorga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Peruxu Gallegos came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Sangre Guaraní FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peruxu Gallegos couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cresenciano Pabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Peruxu Gallegos made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robustiano Laurentzi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Meridiano AFC's Robustiano Laurentzi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Peruxu Gallegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruxu Gallegos in the 56th minute of play forced Meridiano AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peruxu Gallegos succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. 71 minutes into the match, Sangre Guaraní FC's goalkeeper Rameriz Montealegre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Benat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruxu Gallegos in the 75th minute of play forced Meridiano AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, Meridiano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Marz to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peruxu Gallegos in the 80th minute of the match. Hector Orland hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fresco Coyences blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Maiorga having to make a save. Pastor Marz was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Meridiano AFC's Pastor Marz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dionisio Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peruxu Gallegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Felo Cortina hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Sangre Guaraní FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
