Babür Yürük didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Peres went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Babür Yürük showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Wellington Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Babür Yürük. HamsiGücü Spor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Wellington Peres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babür Yürük was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Wellington Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Babür Yürük read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Fikret Vafi during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wellington Peres was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coimbra's Wellington Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Babür Yürük narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Wellington Peres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Babür Yürük. Wellington Peres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Jailson Berger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Babür Yürük having to make a save. Desportivo Coimbra's Jailson Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jailson Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to HamsiGücü Spor getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ahmet Fikret Vafi hit a great ball. Vladimir Gaúcho shot from long distance in the 68th minute, but Babür Yürük was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Babür Yürük stood somewhat misplaced when Wellington Peres came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 74 minute. When Jailson Berger came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Desportivo Coimbra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Berger couldn't finish the play. Jailson Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wellington Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Babür Yürük having to make a save. Babür Yürük made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Peres in the 92nd minute of play. Babür Yürük was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wellington Peres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 94 minute of play. During the 97th minute of the match Ahmet Fikret Vafi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet Fikret Vafi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 98th minute, Ahmet Fikret Vafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The HamsiGücü Spor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Desportivo Coimbra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
