After some careless play in the Chacarita Jrs defense, Alfredo Quirce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Diaz. The Chacarita Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Diaz should have stopped the shot. Gavino Guifre hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Quirce in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Cuervos Galácticos were awarded a corner. Genaro Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. Cuervos Galácticos's Genaro Donzel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Domingo Diaz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Esdras in the 18th minute of play. Domingo Diaz made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gavino Guifre sent off a good shot on target. Domingo Diaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Quirce's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Jrs from getting a goal against them. Cuervos Galácticos's Alfredo Quirce managed to work through Chacarita Jrs's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alfredo Quirce dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Alfredo Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Benicio Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Quirce got free with Domingo Diaz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Esdras took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Esdras. Teofilo Esdras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Cuervos Galácticos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chacarita Jrs were winning 1-2.

Cuervos Galácticos made a substitution. Alejo Haritz replaced Miguel Eguntsenti. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Quirce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. During the 52nd minute of the match Benicio Porfirio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benicio Porfirio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Quirce in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Diaz saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. Angelo Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Cefero hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Alfredo Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Chacarita Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Quirce came free, but Domingo Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Nerio during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cuervos Galácticos's Generoso Balasi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs's Jaime Oxel got a free kick in the 68th minute.
