The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cuervos Galácticos getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Joaquin Ranolfo hit a great ball. After 6 minutes of play, Corbera FC's Emiliano Eliu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Esdras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Eliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Teofilo Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Bernaerts in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Corbera FC were awarded a corner. Angelino Eliu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Angelino Eliu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras did a great save. Guy Bernaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Esdras having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos Galácticos's zone, Guy Bernaerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Esdras came out of the goal and Guy Bernaerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Guy Bernaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Esdras was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Pello to maneuver through the defense. In the 44thth minute of the game Alfredo Quirce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corbera FC's Haroldo Garin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Cuervos Galácticos made a substitution. Alejo Haritz replaced Miguel Eguntsenti. In the 57th minute, Cuervos Galácticos's Amancio Pello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amancio Pello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cuervos Galácticos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amancio Pello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Teofilo Esdras had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Angelino Eliu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Corbera FC's Angelino Eliu after 60 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Cuervos Galácticos's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Corbera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cuervos Galácticos:s goal. If Marco Ruben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Balasi to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th play minute Alfredo Quirce came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Haroldo Garin. 2-2. In the 81st match minute, Corbera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Eliu to maneuver through the defense. If Alfredo Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Guy Bernaerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofilo Esdras. Cuervos Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guy Bernaerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of Corbera FC booed when Cuervos Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Bertin charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Bertin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albino Bertin hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Corbera FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
