After 16 minutes of play, Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mondi Muslera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Skrzypek in the 23rd minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis got control of the ball when Damazy Brytan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Ebardo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Skrzypek to make the kick off.
