The audience was convinced that Genaro Donzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Diaz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Quirce in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Diaz saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. When Cuervos Galácticos's Alfredo Quirce in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39th match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Ranolfo to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Diaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genaro Donzel's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bonifacio Esdras struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Teofilo Esdras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Jrs. Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Esdras in the 53rd minute of play.
