After having played for 31 minutes, 许明卫 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 许明卫 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofilo Esdras made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when 许明卫 sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Balasi in the 35th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nelson Hawley came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Pan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Hawley couldn't finish the play. 许明卫 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cuervos Galácticos's Teofilo Esdras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Cuervos Galácticos from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Alfredo Quirce made the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Raymond replaced Nelson Hawley.
