The Machine Gun Kelly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Nuñez got free with Tadeo Udalaitz in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Erramun in the 22nd minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Machine Gun Kelly got a corner. SAN LORENZO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Erramun ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Machine Gun Kelly's corner Conrado Erramun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Astigar quite easily take care of the ball. Geoffrey Wolden hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Conrado Erramun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Conrado Erramun put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Dario Astigar. Conrado Erramun struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Dario Astigar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machine Gun Kelly. Julien Corbeau hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The SAN LORENZO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Machine Gun Kelly were winning 0-3.

Dario Astigar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Conrado Erramun sent off a good shot on target. Julien Corbeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Aristides Boniel replaced Conrado Erramun. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 80th minute, Aristides Boniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Boniel came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
