Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Eutor in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Eutor came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habil Castolo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás DAndrea saved Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting behind. Co Fuchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vinicio Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Eutor in the 29th minute of play. Paolo Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Arda Ardashov hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With his leg Vinicio Aires managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Defensores del Ángel Gris's Co Fuchs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The nice shot from Co Fuchs in the 38thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Vinicio Aires had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Chabier came free, but Vinicio Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. the xeneise dream team made a substitution. Domingos Camerino replaced Isaac Sundberg. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Eutor in the 53rd minute of play. Nicolás DAndrea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Eutor's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Habil Castolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes the xeneise dream team's Habil Castolo stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Nicolás DAndrea stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Defensores del Ángel Gris of the goal. Nicolás DAndrea came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by the xeneise dream team's Paolo Eutor. But to his dismay, Paolo Eutor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Catranides in the 70th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Vinicio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacharias Siatzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Nicolás DAndrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habil Castolo in the 79th minute. the xeneise dream team were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Farias took the corner. After 81 minutes, Roque Mercurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the the xeneise dream team and the Defensores del Ángel Gris players grew even worse after the yellow card.
