Haroldo Garin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Corbera FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Laurence Schautens hit a great ball. Corbera FC's Haroldo Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Aires in the 22nd minute of play. Rene Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Garin having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Marco Ruben tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walmir Catarinense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Rene Aires came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Loco De Remate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Aires couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guy Bernaerts made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Laurence Schautens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A very good chance for a goal. 56 minutes into the match, Corbera FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Garin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Aires. Baškim Sumulikovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Haroldo Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
