Abel Matro had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Mo Yi Sang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mo Yi Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Matro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Yi Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mo Yi Sang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Matro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Abel Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mo Yi Sang's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Abel Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo Yi Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Plumerillo's zone, Eduardo Soriano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Matro came out of the goal and Eduardo Soriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes, San Lorenzo's Fausto Estebano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abel Matro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Lorenzo reached it.

51 minutes into the match, Mo Yi Sang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Matro. Plumerillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mo Yi Sang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 55th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mo Yi Sang's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The supporters of Plumerillo booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Matro made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mo Yi Sang sent off a good shot on target. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Penaru in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Mo Yi Sang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Matro. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 80th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, San Lorenzo's Abel Matro threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mo Yi Sang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 85th minute of play. When San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
