Matias Carlomagno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Rosio went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ivan Errando was substituted for Venancio Piorno. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Elias Honrio. In the 48th minute, Martin Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Olarticoechea in the 49th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Rosio to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Lorenzo Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Errando in the 56th minute of play. Matias Carlomagno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Jerrold showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. Ivan Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Lorenzo Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Carlomagno came out of the goal and Lorenzo Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Olarticoechea in the 80th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Matias Carlomagno. Ivan Errando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Matias Carlomagno made a huge save. If Lorenzo Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Kara Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded San Lorenzo de Sarandi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo.
