With a left leg Alvar Öberg saved Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting behind. Alvar Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Erramun in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Gaudencio Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdul Jabbar Mansur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Öberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Karlsson in the 12th minute of play forced Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper Tadeo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Erramun came free, but Alvar Öberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Ondino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Francisco Sá notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg. Alvar Öberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdul Jabbar Mansur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Kismi struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Alvar Öberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machine Gun Kelly. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Erramun in the 26th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Öberg came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun. But to his dismay, Conrado Erramun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alvar Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Conrado Erramun sped through Club Atletico Rio Tercero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvar Öberg. Alvar Öberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Erramun went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Martin Oihan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A long shot from Jacobo Mark in the 39th minute of play was well struck, but Tadeo Udalaitz made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Erramun in the 40th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Udalaitz made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Fred Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Evelio Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvar Öberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Machine Gun Kelly's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Fred Karlsson scored to the left of an out of position Tadeo Udalaitz, making the score, 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Erramun was the one to do the kick off. If Conrado Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute Conrado Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Machine Gun Kelly's Conrado Erramun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After 57 played minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Dante Ondino. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Dante Ondino got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Aristides Boniel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Machine Gun Kelly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Boniel couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Karlsson in the 63rd minute of the match. Alvar Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Rio Tercero's zone, Tony Parker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Öberg came out of the goal and Tony Parker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Karlsson came free, but Tadeo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejandro Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
