In the 13th minute Aristides Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Manuel Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Lizer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Leo Henric made a huge save. If Juan Manuel Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Lizer got free with Leo Henric in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azulgranas AFC's Juan Manuel Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leo Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 62 minutes, Tony Parker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machine Gun Kelly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Parker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Conrado Erramun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leo Henric was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute Conrado Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Erramun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Erramun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leo Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Erramun in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azulgranas AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdul Jabbar Mansur was slow to take the kick. During this time Machine Gun Kelly's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Conrado Erramun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leo Henric quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Conrado Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Erramun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 minutes, Sebastián Méndez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azulgranas AFC and the Machine Gun Kelly players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Sebastián Méndez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Azulgranas AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Machine Gun Kelly.
