The Azulgranas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Henric should have stopped the shot. Torino FC's Tomás Bonifaco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Torino FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Manuel Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Antonio Inko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azulgranas AFC and the Torino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Hermann Spieler in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Henric saved Azulgranas AFC from getting behind. After the first half Torino FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans-Hermann Spieler to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Juan Manuel Cruz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Torino FC's Tomás Bonifaco. Tomás Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leo Henric stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Hermann Spieler's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Hans-Hermann Spieler had several of the Azulgranas AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-4 score and a disappointed Leo Henric as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Torino FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
