Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Lebas to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match KaoS Futbol Club got a corner. Areco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Narciso Noe ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Narciso Noe to score against Gabriel Urtats in Areco FC's goal. 0-3 after 56 minutes. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustin Abaunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Igor Lebas made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Urtats. Areco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. KaoS Futbol Club's Andres Baresi was substituted for León Ponzio. When Igor Lebas came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the KaoS Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Lebas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, KaoS Futbol Club's Benicio Hartz got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tor Kämpe hit a great ball. Gabriel Urtats made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Igor Lebas sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Igor Lebas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gabriel Urtats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KaoS Futbol Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
