After a defensive mix-up in Areco FC's zone, Xesc Labarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal and Xesc Labarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Agustin Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. Chacarita Futsal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Augusto Rosalio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita Futsal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Areco FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes Chacarita Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Rosalio. In the 47th minute, Augusto Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xesc Labarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Barros hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Xesc Labarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chacarita Futsal were furious when Augusto Rosalio was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute Moises Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Areco FC's Aquiles Pirro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Ángel Santoro. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play.
