In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Bâru might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Urtats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Bâru ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Bâru in the 31st minute of play. Unidad de Matanza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Agustin Abaunza scored to the left of an out of position Venancio Cristofol, making the score, 1-3. When Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Areco FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Abaunza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Bâru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Urtats when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Gabriel Urtats managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Bâru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Gabriel Urtats skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was substituted for Lotfi Ziadi. After 61 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Galo. Gabriel Urtats made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Michal Stehno sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Zemeckis in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Stehno. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Gabriel Urtats in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Harri lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 75th minute Martin Grøtterud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Grøtterud in the 77th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Stehno in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Urtats, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Lenni Skensved kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Urtats. That made the score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Máximo Kirchner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Urtats. That made the score 1-7 in the 90 minute of play. Gabriel Urtats made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Martin Grøtterud sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Martin Grøtterud. But to his dismay, Martin Grøtterud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. When the match was over Unidad de Matanza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Areco FC throughout the match.
