The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Caradaro got free with Pierluigi Buffon in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Chiriac came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Igor Lebas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Lebas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The KaoS Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KaoS Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
