Germano Bettencourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Gustau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Bettencourt ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Louis came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Legio X Eqvestris got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Louis. Tadeusz Rudy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. After some careless play in the Legio X Eqvestris defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Gustau. The Legio X Eqvestris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Gustau should have stopped the shot. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Lino Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Gustau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodosio Farias hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC FUSION's Lino Rios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Gustau. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ariel Gustau was a little too slow when Lino Rios got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-5. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Thiago Silva got a free kick in the 67th minute. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Louis in the 68th minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paradela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ariel Gustau made a huge save. 76 minutes into the game, Lino Rios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Gustau. Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
