An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 10th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 15th minute of play. Raimond Lenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Zézinho Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spyros Zacharioudakis in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 37 in the game by Nunez Hernandez from a close distance when the talented Dan Wennerqvist managed to make a qualified save. Soroca F.C.'s players were relieved. Kryspin Degutis's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kryspin Degutis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Degutis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. Raimond Lenk made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimond Lenk was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Zézinho Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimond Lenk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zézinho Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Raimond Lenk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. In the 62nd minute, Amadeo Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimond Lenk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Constantino Idacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Necula got free with Raimond Lenk in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimond Lenk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When Zézinho Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Zézinho Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Neiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Constantino Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Jaen in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas FC's zone, Răzvan Necula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimond Lenk came out of the goal and Răzvan Necula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimond Lenk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Răzvan Necula showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 83 minute of play. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. When Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piratas FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Răzvan Necula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Necula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
