Caitano Fuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Victoriano Lertxun made a huge save. Ponciano Lebron hit a great ball. With a little luck, Boedo Athletic.'s Victoriano Lertxun got control of the ball when Guo Zhou Feng tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Boedo Athletic.'s Conrado Eufemio was substituted for Vladimiro Llorenc. Victoriano Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalvador Uralde in the 83rd minute of play. Fútbol Club Insaar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xalvador Uralde in the 84th minute. A nice corner shot did that Xalvador Uralde got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victoriano Lertxun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
