Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Venancio Unai kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Julio Gonzales took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Martínez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Unai in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 14th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arsenal's Venancio Unai in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Isidoro Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal's Emiliano Martínez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Arsenal's Gerardo Mano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 41 minutes of play, Arsenal's Gerardo Mano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Arsenal's Venancio Unai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Panama booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 52nd minute. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Gonzales hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gerardo Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Mano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal's Venancio Unai. But to his dismay, Venancio Unai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 78th minute of play. Emiliano Martínez was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 4-2. 87 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Martínez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emiliano Martínez, 4-3. Emiliano Martínez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target.
