In the 35th match minute, Once Virgos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Rumaldo in the 37th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabián Fuentes got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Once Virgos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Fabio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Once Virgos FC's Fabián Fuentes in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonathan Ferrant guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jorginho Bertassi scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorginho Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Once Virgos FC were the better team. Once Virgos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
