In the 3rd minute Olof Ersman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Floricel charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurențiu Floricel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when GoooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Floricel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, GoooooL's Björn Ekegren threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aron Dobrea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Björn Ekegren was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Alin Tirulescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alin Tirulescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. SSC Ambrosini's Valdemar Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Olof Ersman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. GoooooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olof Ersman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kasper Kristiansson hit a great ball. A collision led to GoooooL getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eugen Mănescu hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, SSC Ambrosini's Alf Kullgren tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Ersman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasper Kristiansson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Marcel Molodețiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Åberg was the one to do the kick off. GoooooL's Filip Otețea got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Molodețiu came free, but Björn Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Michael Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Aron Dobrea charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Dobrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Tirulescu in the 73rd minute of play. Gavril Nicea kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 91 played minutes SSC Ambrosini got a freekick which was hit by Olof Ersman. In the 92nd minute, Marcel Molodețiu made a precise shot to the right of Björn Ekegren. SSC Ambrosini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
