In the 8th minute Marcel Molodețiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Mejia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nae Hanganu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Caicedo in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vincent Murieta hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ronny Caicedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihăiţă Ştefulescu. Ronny Caicedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. George Temes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Emanuel Cigu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoooooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GUAYACO the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Luis Rechani got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the C.A. GUAYACO defense, Laurențiu Floricel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Mejia. The C.A. GUAYACO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Mejia should have stopped the shot. GoooooL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aron Dobrea in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on GoooooL's corner Aron Dobrea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Mejia quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Filip Otețea got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GoooooL! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Molodețiu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, GoooooL's Laurențiu Floricel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Mejia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 56th minute, Laurențiu Floricel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Vincent Murieta hit a great ball. After 69 minutes of play, GoooooL's Marcel Molodețiu made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Mejia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Burdea. C.A. GUAYACO's Vela Garros was substituted for Ronny Caicedo. After 73 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Burdea. 75 minutes into the game, C.A. GUAYACO's Vela Garros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vela Garros's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vela Garros in the 81st minute of play forced GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Murieta hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes, Yader Aramberri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. GUAYACO and the GoooooL players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Yader Aramberri hit a great ball. After 89 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Fernández Corral. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yader Aramberri in the 94th minute of the match. Emanuel Cigu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Mejia having to interfere. The C.A. GUAYACO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GoooooL's performance. The match ended with a win for GoooooL.
