Ortiz Zumarraga made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö. Stig Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Caicedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes Haymakers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gomez Argüelles who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when George Temes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 10 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xacintu Monterrey to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Haymakers FC's Agne Barck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agne Barck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Haymakers FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agne Barck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for C.A. GUAYACO. Gomez Argüelles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stig Brask. 0-2. Stig Brask stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Temes's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Stig Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Rechani, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Stig Brask didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Temes went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Haymakers FC's Stig Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Temes in the 29th minute of play. Lukas Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hugo Mejia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia got control of the ball when Lukas Apelkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bo-Erik Sjöö hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Caicedo in the 38th minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Stig Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Temes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Brask showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Caicedo in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half C.A. GUAYACO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronny Caicedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xacintu Monterrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Brask having to interfere. Stig Brask made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Luis Rechani sent off a good shot on target. When Kim Kullgren fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haymakers FC's protests and gave Kim Kullgren a yellow card for diving instead. Ronny Caicedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Rechani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Stig Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Temes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. GUAYACO's Yader Aramberri was substituted for Arboleda Reborio. Hugo Mejia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukas Apelkvist went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Jan Snell's late challenge caught a C.A. GUAYACO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Snell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Sjöö to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Bo-Erik Sjöö got a free kick in the 85th minute. Stig Brask showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vela Garros, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Vela Garros took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Stig Brask to make any attempt to save it.
