GUAYACO booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Kristiansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. GUAYACO's Xicu Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasper Kristiansson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Xicu Fonseca scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Ekegren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Rechani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Caicedo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in SSC Ambrosini fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! A collision led to C.A.
