Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Eleuterio Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fervent Stalkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Donostia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 played minutes Fervent Stalkers got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Gauargi. Julio Vera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Franco Navarro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 played minutes Fervent Stalkers got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Nofre. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gaskon having to interfere. If Eleuterio Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Cirilo Laurgain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fervent Stalkers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 35 played minutes Fervent Stalkers got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Laurgain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleuterio Donostia in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eleuterio Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Navarro was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Fervent Stalkers defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Gaskon. The Fervent Stalkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Gaskon should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Gaskon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gaskon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gaskon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fervent Stalkers's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Gaskon came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fervent Stalkers's Augusto Gaskon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Fervent Stalkers from getting a goal against them. Eleuterio Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gaskon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Leandro Cutberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Leandro Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. 90 minutes into the match, Leandro Cutberto notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Fervent Stalkers were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
